Turn around and Jump

It's been a while but here it goes...

How do you reinvent yourself? How do you start from scratch? How do you abandon your old you and accept and unbodied a new self. How do you motivate yourself to something completely new? How do you detach from old strings that made you who you are? The answer is that... nobody should have to do it... unless you really have to. It's paradoxic but it's f#cking life. Life's not a movie, we can't all be rock stars, drug dealers, supermodels, marine biologists or masked heroes trying to save the planet. We take what we can from each day that goes by, and we should take it victoriously. Might not be another f#ucking day tomorrow so we better not take things for granted.

Old Beginnings, what restricts me are the circles inside!!!

First and foremost, I'm back to posting again. Been crazy last couple of months, new job, new people and a second little human being on the way which is due in a week or so.
This one is dedicated to friends who forget how to be friends. This one is for the ones I left behind, and even after I call so many times no one gives a damn about emailing back. This one is for all of you, far from sight far from heart!
Pedro, Escalopes and Kutchie, you skip this one. Here's to repetition, and old beginnings and may all of you live happily ever after. As one great band said in one of their best songs, probably the best one: "What restricts me are the circles inside".
Rock'n Roll and the rest is just white noise!!!

Za Green Monster

Don´t get me wrong, but if you are able to love, you will always, somehow feel jealous somewhere.
Always heard that jealousy can destroy relations.
Totally bullshit to me.
Totally truth to be.
Don´t get me wrong, but who´s in line of fire when you’re throwing stones in the eyes of the jackal?
So, with no big things about this particular felling two songs to call upon…

It's foggy, but it's not Sintra

Grey kind of day. The temperature went up to positives, which is not bad. The sun on the other hand has hidden it's face in a cloud of fog. Took a personal day, I guess even the sun has its day. Incredible how some people can be directly influenced by the weather. Also, a big piece of influence can be the place where you're standing. If this fog was in Sintra (Portugal), then yes, that would be a good kick start to a day. Although foggy, Sintra holds a special kind of magic, only enhanced by fog. But I'm not in Sintra, not even near. I'm on the other side of the world, on the other side of everything or almost everything. The days are different and so are the nights. The sun as surrendered it's place to the cold winds and snow, negative temperatures and icy mornings. But yet, we adapt, make it livable and enjoy small portions of what we call happiness. So, enjoy: Zero 7, Somersault. Your thoughts as usual on the little white box that says "piece of your soul please!". Thanks.

Shag that Star

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything. I had hopes that in the past week someone would at least post a comment or so. I guess I will have to go on without an audience as I did before.
If there's one artist in the musical world that has triggered more sexual appeal than any, I would say, David Bowie takes the prize. Whether he was bisexual or not remains a mystery, the truth is that the chameleon of pop gets better as he grows old. I remember a married women telling me that, if right now she had the chance of shagging that star, she wouldn't flinch. Whatever happened to fidelity. I guess we will open a exception for David Bowie, and this takes us to our next subject. Who would you shag if you had to choose a celebrity? Who would it be? We know the general female opinion but give us an input. I would choose Nina Persson, the vocal leader of The Cardigans. She always looked like she could use a good shag. No offense Nina but I think you could use a little loveeeeee.
So people, give me your celebrity shag, don't be shy. Any celebrity is good, they are all the same, no shame in picking Cher. Heeeeh... But I wouldn't.

Song of the day: David Bowie - Major Tom.

Universe is chaos, Yap...

Universe is chaos. I say this because there isn't really any sense of fairness or justice. I mean, yes you can rack up a few brownie points, good karma here, good karma there, and yeah, you'll get a couple of free caramel lattes at Starbucks, a free car wash, or a $30 on the lottery. But that is as much as it goes for the majority of us. That's as good as it gets in this life. All the sense of fairness that you might have, just drop it. Nothing of value comes free in this world. At least nothing that you really want. Remembering the Rolling Stones, you can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need. The universe revolves around chaos, a randomness of split second decisions and actions. All heroes are dead, and the only ones that are alive, are either in our heads or believe they are the next Jesus. F#uck, maybe the 2012 movie has the right concept with all of those kinda Noah's arcs to save some of us. I hope by then I have racked up a lot of brownie points because I don't have friends in high places. Bring those big Barges.

Ahhhh, those zombie daysss...

The one and only Godspeed you Black Emperor, and are they good, oh my godddd ( Iknow there's one out there).

TOP 5 Sci-Fi movies - reloaded

Good top 5 miss BeKa!!! Haven't seen Stalker, will look into that definitly.
For now, my Top 5:

5 - The Time Machine, the original one. Fantastic story, fantastic movie. Guy Pearce, eat your heart out. H.G. Wells writes the most fantastic time travel story.
4 - The Matrix/ Dark City - I had to put both, although the Watchowsky brothers did a fantastic job, Alex Proyas with dark city, released in 1998, explores that idea, and even certain nuances and ambiance in the movie seem very similar to one another. Dark city came first.
3 - 2001 Space Odissey - It's a mind f#ck, it's existensialism, it's pure sci-fi and it rocks
2 - The original Star Wars Trilogy.
And number one, a classic.
1 - Blade Runner - for me the ultimate Sci-fi, noir, with a fantastic texture. Just brilliant.

Sorry love, I love Equilibrium,I think it's fantastic, the concept is really well executed, and Christian Bale, f#ck, he's good in every role, from Empire of the Sun (will not even mention The Machinist, can't believe he wasn't even nominated for an oscar) to the Batman Role, he is just a fantastic actor, I just don't think it has enough in it to compete with the others on the top 5.

And it seems to be The Matrix soundtrack day, because here goes another one:
I think it's track number 6: Clubbed to Death, Rob Dougan.
